Travelling from York
Take the A59 heading towards Harrogate. Go over the roundabout where the A1 crosses the A59 and continue past the turning to Coneythorpe on your right hand side. Just past this is a turning on your left to Goldsborough. Follow the lane down to the village, past the cemetery and on until the t-junction facing the Bay Horse inn. Turn right here and continue until the road branches, taking the left hand road, Midgeley Lane. We are the first house on the right hand side, facing sideways on the the road, with a metal sign bracket and some steps up an embankment leading to a wooden rose arch visible from the road. You can park in the gravel driveway just past here, labelled "South Barn"
Travelling from Harrogate
Take the A59 out of Harrogate on Wetherby Road, passing Sainsburies and The Kestrel Inn, turning left at the roundabout onto the A59. Continue on here, over the roundabout near St James's retail park, continuing to the next roundabout, taking the third exit, signposted Goldsborough only. Drive down the road until you come to the stone pillars entering the village by the school. Continue round the corner and where the road branches take the right hand road, Midgeley Lane. From Leeds
Take the A61 to Harrogate, and, at the Harrogate roundabout on the ring road, take the exit marked Knaresborough and York. Continue on to the next roundabout, going straight over, again following the signs to Knaresborough and York.
