Education
The background of several key Feel Design staff is in education and children, whether as teachers, lecturers, college technicians, trainers or as childrens illustrators. This brings in a level of understanding that we are able to apply to projects with childrens publishers - a large part of our work, schools, universites such as York and Huddersfield, colleges such as St Johns in York and working with the National Association of Workshop Providers to produce an online database. Video work
Our work recently has incorporated more video, reflecting the changing needs of customers, and bandwidth capabilities. We have responded by investing in both the latest equipment of software and in bringing into the team experts in camera work and production. Work has included videos for schools, construction companies, a software company, small businesses and music videos. A simple video can enhance even a basic site at an affordable price. Multimedia and motion graphics
Working with Flash, 3D Studio Max, Apple Motion and Adobe After Effects we have created a range of work for clients such as BT, Engage Mutual, Yellow Door, Syngenta Seeds and more. OUr work is often requested by other design companies requiring our expertise and has enhanced many sites and campaigns for companies such as Pan Credit and Menitest. Directories
Several of our sites have required an inline database of businesses in a local area or across the country or beyond. We have created a range of sites, with varying features allowing users to search for a business, and the site owner to add information on the businesses, either charging for the service by membership or advertising. Children
Our understanding of childrens media and the education and childcare sector has led us into several projects, workng with childrens publishers, schools, colleges and day nurseries and childcare facilities. We have several childrens illustrators on our freelance books and have been able to respond to projects where other companies may have struggled. Weddings
We have worked in the wedding sector on several occasions, from photographers and wedding planners to online directories to e-commerce sites selling wedding hats, chair convers and al the other accessories required! With the average spend on a wedding in the UK in excess of £20,000 it is a huge and market and our clients have recognised the need for a site to stand out in a very competitive market. We have produced work for a range of healthcare companies, ranging from dentists to cosmetic surgeons and more. The dental work in particular has come from recommendation between practices who we have worked with and who have found us to be effective and reliable. Feel Design have produced print such as price lists, signage and web work for several hairdressers and beauticians, as well as work for soap and beauty product manufacturers and retailers - including e-commerce sites and large scale magazine print work for distribution in hotels. Fashion
Feel Design have created several sites in the clothing and fashion area. Working with clients such as Northern Lingerie to create a trade e-commerce site and for Adorn Hats, creating branding, print and an e-commerce site, as well as smaller clothing company Eei-Eei-O for who we created a basic e-commerce site. We have also created branding, packaging and clothing designs for Sub Sports - a sports clothing company and a magazine website aimed at fashion concious Swedish students in London and around the world! Publishers
Feel Design have worked with several childrens book publishers - mostly for DC Thomson Books, including Peter Haddock and Meadowside books and also Yellow Door - an educational company, producing interactive CD ROMS and a website to sell them. Driving instructors
Feel Design have produced a numer of website for Driving Instructors and Driver Trainers including the National Register of Instructor Trainers in England - a database for people loking to train as driving instructors.
